If you use Pay Per Click (PPC) to get web traffic you better know
what your doing or you can be out allot of money! Starting out most people
think it's very easy to use PPC and it is easy to use and you can be paying
through the nose of each click and wasting your money.
This section really is for beginners and those with more of an understanding of Pay Per Click should take a look at the methods of PPC strategy.
Some of the best systems to teach you
these in far more detail can be found in our list of proven and excellent traffic
ebooks. You can learn PPC strategy but you have to understand what PPC is first.
What is PPC?
There are different types of search engines where people can
search for a keyword and a listing of results show up, well you can actually
pay the search engine to put your site up at the top of those listings. These
types of search engines are called Pay Per Click Search Engines (PPCSE). Pay
Per click means that you will pay that search engine a bid or dollar amount to be
ranked at the top of their search engines results for what ever keyword is
typed in the search box. But you only have to pay when someone clicks on your listing. We all know the higher you are in the listings or
search results the more chances increase of being found by a visitor who will then click on your Ad. Naturally
if you want to be at the very top you'll have to be the highest bidder.
Example: I want to everyone in the world who wants to buy
"pens" on the internet to find my website when they are looking to
buy. I set-up a PCC account with a PPCSE like Google and put $100 into my
account. I tell google I want to bid .50 for the keyword "pens" which
means I will pay Google .50 for anyone that clicks on my Ad when google
displays the search result listing for the keyword pens. If one of my competitors
wants to bid .60 on that keyword then their website will be higher in the
listings then mine. It becomes an auction at this point where I then bid
higher, higher, until I have the top listing in Google search results. See how
this can become expensive?
There are tricks you can learn so that your paying less then the competition but getting more visitors. We will discuss and explain step by step instructions for using Pay Per Click to increase traffic later.
Some PPCSE won't show you what the current bid is either so
your bidding in the dark, if your site is not at the top of the listings then you
have to raise your bid more and more until you see it there. What a scam. But now that I read some excellent traffic ebooks I know how to beat the PPC system.
These types of PPC listings are paid listings or
sponsored listing and they show up at the VERY top of search engine listing and
on the right hand side.
Now you know what PPC is your next step is to learn how to use it with a very sound PPC strategy so that you don't throw your money away.
* Here is a little known secret about PPC advertising that I learned from a Ebook that I paid $299 for...The book talks about how Google Adwords and other major PPCSE charge MAGA Bucks for clicks ($1 -$8) per click. Yes this is normal and it doesn't take long to add up either.
You do NOT have to pay that any longer, you can get similar traffic results but targeted traffic for .01 - .25 per click. 95% of all my PPC keywords are at just .01 cents. You need to switch to 7Search.com. Not many people know about these guys which is a good thing (Less competition). What I like most besides the cheap traffic is the fact you can see what the bid is on your keywords and out bid it on the spot.
